Submitted Artwork Requirements
In general we need Vector Artwork. We can give quotes
with regular .jpg images as long as we know the letter/logo
sizes, material and material thickness, and the finish
required. For cutting files we need the following.
Adobe Illustrator
We prefer files in .EPS or .AI format but please
be aware that not all illustrator EPS files are vector
art. EPS can also be saved without path information
which is useless to us. Photoshop EPS files are raster
images and can only be viewed as an image, not as a
cutting file. Please do the following:
- During the save as process, please save as illustrator
version 8.
- Please make sure all embedded fonts are converted
to lines and curves.
Corel Draw
Please save as .CMX. Corel draw files are version
specific. The .CMX standard is version independent.
Autocad
No offense but we hate cad files. If you must
send a cad file please send it as an .DXF and convert
the version back to autocad 2000
True Type Fonts
We have many thousands of .TTF fonts available
so first check with us to see if we have the font you
need. If not, you can send us the .TTF file which you
will find in your WINDOWS>FONTS directory. You will
need to copy it to a temporary directory before you
can attach it to most emails.
